About Us
Harrogate Community Radio is a not-for-profit, community radio station based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. We are a volunteer-led organisation with a passion for music and local issues. We provide an alternative to commercial radio, with a focus on local music and spoken word shows. We believe that radio should be about the community, not just profit.
Who We Are
Harrogate Community Radio was founded in 2019 by a group of local residents who were passionate about music and community radio. We are seeking donations and our aim is to provide a voice for the people of Harrogate. We are run by a team of volunteers who give their time and expertise to keep the station running. If you would like to get involved, get in contact!
Harrogate Community Radio is the operating name of Harrogate Community Radio ltd. A Company Limited by Guarantee. Company Number: 13002387.

It may be unrelated to our residency here but in 2013, the town was declared as “the third most romantic place in the world.” It fended off the likes of Paris, Rome, London and Vienna.
Harrogate is a Victorian spa town and rural district that contains the medieval city of Ripon, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and four charming but very different market towns; Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Masham and Pateley Bridge.
In the heart of Yorkshire, this is your perfect base for a day, a weekend or a week. Indulge your passions and your senses and visit the Harrogate area for a memorable break. With such a varied range of events in Harrogate, you will find there is always something taking place to capture your interest.
We hope we can keep you entertained.
