Harrogate Community Radio spent the day playing music and raising the profile of the station in Major Tom's on The Ginnel. It is a great bar and we were made very welcome.

Scooby ran the tombola and Admin Andrew played a set you would normally hear on White Lightning every Saturday at 11pm.

Feedback was good.

The management of Tom's were pleased to show an unexpected spike in their sales metrics as Andrew was DJ'ing. This led to an invite for more work for Andrew and something fresh…

Admin Andrew cannot be at the bar for dinner every evening – playing music. So, Tom's have sought the required links to play repeats of White Lighting in his absence when people are having a few after-work drinks. We are stoked with this; the station will be played on a premises in town and people will be asking who supplied the music; Harrogate Community Radio is the answer.

So, thanks to Scoob for organising the event and we have to point you to the event next month. On the third Sunday of the month of March, HCR is taking over Tom's again for more of a social –  buoyed off the back of the Christmas drinks effort, the stations hosts have been asking for more of a social element to the broadcast and, truth be told, an opportunity to share their experience with the admin. March 20th '22 will give the opportunity for that and we hope to see you there?
