Personally, I am gutted that my bad-ass compadré, Danielle T. has left the station to pursue a career in music. She will be missed.
It leaves a massive hole in the make up of the station – we now need someone else to manage our Events Board.

Duties involve emailing me (Admin Andrew) every Tuesday with a summary of what will be happening in Harrogate over the coming Saturday and Sunday. Currently, we just don’t have time, man-power or the resources – so, we are throwing it open to all-comers to apply.
If you want to play a greater role in the fabric of Harrogate, then email me at info@harrogatecommunityradio.online and we can have a chat to see if you are keen or not. To see if you would fit. If selected, you would be given your own email address (events@) so you would remain anonymous within the role, if you wanted to.
We are keen to get the events board looking a bit like the Leeds List – a magazine site that skims the best data from the web and presents it in our own way. We already have a guide to Open Mic nights, walking and a few posts about the weekend – this is your opportunity to put a mark on the station and the town that you love.
Danielle thought of the events board, back in 2019 I think. It has taken several versions to get where it is but if you think you have ideas for it then they will be listened to.

Andrew is actually one of the Founders of HCR – he volunteers as chief cat-herder to organise the station. He often blogs or writes his opinion here, which is not always welcome but always honest. Andrew is a web design freelancer by trade, and he is also an exhibiting artist. Andrew has been part of the Backhouse marriage experiment with Kathryn since 2011 and lives in High Harrogate.
