Use the "Buy us a coffee" button
At Harrogate Community Radio, you can support us with a small monthly or one-off donation. You'll spot a "buy us a coffee" button in the bottom right corner of the screen - click it and you'll land on our page at buymeacoffee.com/harrogateradio.
From there, you can set up a small recurring donation each month, or make a one-off gift if that suits you better. Either way, it goes straight towards the running costs of the station - things like streaming, equipment and the everyday overheads that keep us on air.
We don't take adverts or commercial funding, so every donation matters. It's what keeps Harrogate's own voices on the radio, whatever the amount.

Subscribe to HCR on Mixcloud
You can now subscribe to Harrogate Community Radio (HCR) on Mixcloud, a volunteer-run station broadcasting a wide range of music and spoken word from Harrogate.
The channel covers a broad range of shows, from country classics to house and electronic music. You'll find shows like "Country Classics" and DJ Trev's Streaming into the Void alongside plenty more.
Subscribing gets you:
- Offline listening: download shows to listen without an internet connection.
- An ad-free experience: no interruptions to the music or talk.
- Unlimited listening: go back to any show, any time.
It also supports the presenters and the station directly, helping us keep the shows coming.
Mixcloud is where our Listen Again shows live too, so it's an easy way to catch up on anything you have missed.
HCR is entirely community funded, with no adverts and no commercial backing. Subscribing helps keep local voices and local music on air.

As a volunteer-led broadcaster in North Yorkshire, we operate independently, free from the constraints of commercial and corporate influences. This allows us to focus on what matters most-our community. But with rising costs and an ever-growing demand for diverse, local content, we rely heavily on donations and fundraising to keep our station on the air and thriving.
Perhaps, like us, you believe in the power of community radio to inform, entertain, and unite people from all walks of life. We wish we could expand our reach even further, bringing more voices to the airwaves and offering more support to the people of Harrogate.
