Four On The Floor: Episode #63

Written by on October 9, 2020

I thought I would write a short blog post about my show tonight, so you know a bit about what to expect. Four On The Floor broadcasts at 8pm every Saturday. You are welcome to tune in whether there is a pandemic or not, but it has become some people’s source of club hits when they should be out in the town – so, please remember, #WeAreViable

This weeks show starts with a definite disco house theme. We start of with the classic Phase II Reachin’ followed by a classic re-imagining of Melba Moore’s You Steppin’ Into My Life. Then there’s a disco remix of Danzel Pump It Up, yes the one that the samples from.

As usual there’s a few RNB remixes, this week there’s Beyonce and Ini Kamoze. There’s also a few sample driven tech tracks in there too, one using Eminem & one sampling Black Eyed Peas.

I also dip into a bit of classic rock thanks to Queen & a cover or the Goo Goo Dolls classic Iris by TOGGZ, I mention in the show that whilst Iris is a house track you have to try to find the DNB remix of it.

There’s a couple of new original tracks in there too, a great “acid house” feel from Golf Clap  a future classic from vocalist Julie McKnight called Home too.
