Allan Smyth is an AV engineer with a long history of playing and producing music of a myriad of genres. Having lived in Harrogate for nearly 40 years, Allan knows the town’s nightlife like no other and draws on a great set of stories to keep you giggling for hours.
The owner of two terriers and father of two daughters, Allan provides the hardware advice that the best radio station in Harrogate needs. Allan is one of the co-founders of HCR, along with Andy & Scooby.
It was on a Spring evening of 2019 that the three of us met up to record a podcast – years of broadcasting condensed in to this project; good work guys!
Based at Creao Studios Harrogate, Allan enjoys a wide selection of music and he looks forward to sharing it with you on Harrogate Community Radio. Instrumental in local nightlife, Allan is a known face in town.
