Founded in 2005 Destination Venus is Harrogate’s independent comics store, hanging out under the stairs at the Everyman Cinema on Station Parade. We love comics, and we want you to love them too.
Our current Proprietor has been involved in comics for more than thirty years (he asks us to point out that he started young…), and was an English Teacher for more than a decade and a half. We are passionate about comics, about stories, about literature, literacy, art and science.
Whatever comics you’re into, we’ll supply them. Our staff are all long time comics geeks – if you need recommendations we’ll happily make suggestions based on the things you like.
