My name is Peter Kirkbride. I have recently retired after having been a doctor for 40 years, and I moved back to Yorkshire last year.
I have always had a passion for broadcasting; I was a disco and hospital radio DJ in the seventies, and was a presenter on a cable TV show for expat Brits in Toronto for a couple of years in the nineties when I lived in Canada.
Now that I have retired, I am keen to get back into radio, and so was delighted to find that HCR was looking for new presenters.
