Zahed Amanullah is a British-American Muslim who has been active with Muslim communities across the Atlantic for over 30 years. For many years, he was a co-editor at altmuslim.com, a widely read online newsmagazine from 2002-2012 which included an award-winning podcast and an annual readership of 12 million. He served as a Director for the Concordia Forum, a global network of leaders of Muslim backgrounds from Western countries that includes many prominent Muslims in the arts, politics, business, and government. Currently, he is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, specialising in combatting extremism, disinformation, and targeted hate towards minority communities. He has written for or appeared on BBC Breakfast, CNN, Sky News, the Times, the Guardian, Newsweek, the New York Times, Washington Post, and elsewhere.
