Rotation Radio ep. 7 – RK SWITCH Guest Mix

Bespoke October 17, 2020

The Rotation Radio show started out as a student-led radio show on Leeds Student Radio and Chapel FM. It was used to showcase the talent within Leeds College Of Music through DJ Mixes, Interviews and playing new & unreleased music.

Rotation Radio’s goal for the future is to offer the same services to a much wider audience outside of the University. This would include delivering a monthly radio show that would be used to showcase DJs and Producers in Yorkshire. This will be done by playing new music by artists who are producing different types of electronic music. The show will also end with a Dj Mix, which will be used to advertise an upcoming event or projects the artist has.

Bespoke would describe his style of Djing as the underground sound of Leeds. Having grown up on a healthy diet of classic Funk, Disco and Soul, Bespoke aka Elliot McCabe has always had a passion for any music that makes people dance. This in turn led to him to fall in love with the many different types of house and dance in his late teens. Except to hear all these different styles and genres of music in his sets including Jazz Funk, Disco, Soul, House, Afro house and Garage.

RKSwitch is an Electronic Dance duo from Leeds including Kristian James & Richard Wepener. Formed in 2017 the boys have made a name for themselves by being involved in many nightlife events and festivals.

Over the past 3 years, the boys have gone from playing local gigs in their home town of Leeds to having shows in Ibiza, 2 shows in Berlin, Germany and not to mention their shows around the UK. They have had 6 radio plays with BBC Radio Introducing to date and lots of support on their current music
