RIFE Radio is a collaboration born from Fun with a capital ‘F.’ Matt da Conga & station admin, Al Smyth, got together years ago to start a series of parties, the likes of which Harrogate has never seen again. The night was FIRE.
Fast forward a few years and The Fat Controller (station admin Backhouse) asked them to chuck another log on it and start broadcasting the tunes in their dusty box. This was back when Harrogate had Harrogate Alternative Radio – a long forgotten memory of mishaps and more Fun – always with the wrong glasses on.
Prepare yourself for tech-house, House, Techno and all sorts of electronica. The Rife boys are in the house and they are wearing the correct glasses.
