1973 – Martha Reeves & The Vandellas’ career comes to and end, but Motown issue an old album track as a Martha Reeves solo single. Gladys Knight & The Pips leave Motown, the Supremes sing Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross stars in “Lady Sings The Blues” gaining her an Oscar nomination. Stevie Wonder notches up another hit with “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life” while the album “Talking Book” is a great success.
